One of the principal points of contention between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists was the lack of an enumeration of basic civil rights in the Constitution. Many Federalists argued, as in Federalist No. 84, that the people surrendered no rights in adopting the Constitution. In several states, however, the ratification debate in some states hinged on the adoption of a Bill of Rights. The solution was known as the Massachusetts Compromise in which four states ratified the Constitution but at the same time sent recommendations for amendments to the Congress.
James Madison introduced 12 amendments to the First Congress in 1789. Ten of these would go on to become what we now consider to be the Bill of Rights. One was never passed, while another dealing with Congressional salaries was not ratified until 1992 when it became the 27th Amendment. Based on the Virginia Declaration of Rights, the English Bill of Rights, the writings of the Enlightenment, and the rights defined in the Magna Carta, the Bill of Rights contains 'rights' that many today consider to be fundamental to America.
The First Amendment Provides that Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. It protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The Second Amendment: Gives citizens the right to bear arms.
The Third Amendment: Prohibits the government from quartering troops in private homes, a major grievance during the American Revolution.
The Fourth Amendment: Protects citizens from unreasonable search and seizure. The government may not conduct any searches without a warrant, and such warrants must be issued by a judge and based on probable cause.
The Fifth Amendment Provides that citizens not be subject to criminal prosecution and punishment without due process. Citizens may not be tried on the same set of facts twice, and are protected from self-incrimination, (the right to remain silent). The amendment also establishes the power of eminent domain, ensuring that private property is not seized for public use without just compensation.
The Sixth Amendment: assures the right to a speedy trial by a jury of one's peers, to be informed of the crimes with which they are charged, and to confront the witnesses brought by the government. The amendment also provides the accused, the right to compel testimony from witnesse and to legal representation.
The Seventh Amendment Provides that civil cases also be tried by jury.
The Eighth Amendment: Prohibits excessive bail, excessive fines, and cruel and unusual punishments.
The Ninth Amendment: States that the list of rights enumerated in the Constitution is not exhaustive, and the people retain all rights not enumerated.
The Tenth Amendment: Assigns all powers not delegated to the United States, or prohibited to the states, to either the states or to the people.

Barbara Underwood, who replaced the last AG accused of battering women, claims the Fifth Amendment allows a “double jeopardy loophole” by preventing Americans from being charged for the same crime following a valid acquittal or conviction for the crime.
“President Trump’s latest pardon makes crystal clear his willingness to use his pardon power to thwart the cause of justice, rather than advance it,” she said in a statement. “By pardoning Dinesh D’Souza, President Trump is undermining the rule of law by pardoning a political supporter who is an unapologetic convicted felon.”
“Lawmakers must act now to close New York’s double jeopardy loophole and ensure that anyone who evades federal justice by virtue of a politically expedient pardon can be held accountable if they violate New York law.”
In other words, she’s trying to strip the president of executive powers expressively written in the Constitution, which would also harm Americans who are pardoned for a crime – but then charged with that crime or a similar one in New York.
She’s using well-known political luminaries like D’Souza to make her argument, but it’s the average, pardoned Americans the media glosses over who would suffer the worst.

Second, if they sign a document, such as a judge in issuing an order; every document will state in the case heading at the top that it is quote: "BY, FOR, AND ON BEHALF OF:" (city, county, state). U.C.C. § 3-402 states in part, “If the form of the signature shows unambiguously that the signature is made on behalf of the represented person who is identified in the instrument, the representative is not liable on the instrument.”
Every city is a municipal corporation as are the counties and states. Also, corporations are persons; the legal definition of 'PERSON' includes only different forms of corporations, including individual.

You do not own anything; everything is in the name of the PERSON; the same as if all your property was in the name of a parent or corporation. You are merely an agent for the PERSON, and may have use and possession of the property in the name of the PERSON. You are licensed to use the vehicle registered to the PERSON, live in the PERSON's house; you are authorized to sign for and use the PERSON's bank account and credit. By definition democracy is a government for the people by the people and controlled by the people. They elect the officials. This is a democracy, even if you are electing officials to work for you. US form of democracy is an indirect form of democracy.

Sheriffs in the United States have the same power and do the same job as the police, with the key difference being Sheriffs in the US are elected by the people in the majority of states. Many Sheriffs stand up to the Federal Government on behalf of their state when they feel the politicians are passing laws which are in conflict with the US constitution. In the US police, sheriffs and the military currently give an oath that they will abide and follow the constitution.
